Hi All,
I'm interviewing Arthur Quet, the R&D engineer for BOS, for my podcast this week.
I'm wondering if any of you guys have any questions you'd like for me to ask him.
Also, feel free to check out some of my other interviews! This week Eliot Jackson was on.

Also, why they do not reply to basic enquires, questions and/or warranty issues?

With out causing offence to any French people. NOT Responding to email, important messages seems to be a country wide, national thing. I live and work in France/Switzerland and your messages get read but no reply is forth coming. I have absolutely no idea why this is. It is of constant annoyance to many non Swiss/French work colleagues. And at many times it takes the intervention of their bosses to get a reply, resolution. And for some reason, your annoyance at being ignored is treated with surprise and anger. I'm afraid that's just the way it is.

Can you ask them why they allowed may products to pass through their quality control (assuming they actually have one) in 2014/15 that were clearly sub-standard or faulty from the offset?

On a yt right?
Dude have you read the last few pages?

I swear folk do not read topic pages!
Then jump the gun by spouting loadsa bs.
Let's face it RS have had a whole lot more bad product and major QC issues throughout the few years gone by.
Never seises to amaze me how much kit is bought by customers who fall for their marketing and crappy performing over complicated forks etc.
Only RS item I will happily run is 2x reverbs and a monarch 3.3 shock that came on a bike.
Bos I honestly can say that I have never had such a quality fork(s).
Shame they don't respond to a simple Q in email refarding psi in a dizzy fork dating back many months now.
I'd like to try the Ohlins rxf on my short travel 29er but wouldn't swap my Bos fork for it as there's no point.

1) why enter a new market (USA) without any kind of stateside support? 3 years later..still no support.
2) why not just hire and train a customer service team?
3) why not just ship your components with a seal kit like rockshox does?
4) what happened to the san diego support center they told me (repeatedly) was being set up last year?
so many ways to eliminate their customer service/support issues w/ a little effort. it makes them look like they dont give a shit about support their products.

So I brought some Idylle SC airs and they seem to have been f*cked up!
When fully compressed they don't fully extend again.
I think some tit has cut the air damper unit down
Here's an example of a dual crown version grabbed from a Youtube video with an extraflanged section with an O ring on the end

I'm pretty p!ssed off and wan't to know if anyof you guys have a Idylle SC and can see if I'm right about this?

Just to give a bit of another view, I've had my BoS Devilles and Kirk on my 2014 Capra for two years. Had the creaking steerer and had replaced once but they have been fantastic since. I've been messing with turning LSC up a bit and HSC down. I love 'em

Does having a creaking steerer actually do any harm?
Does it mean they are going to fail at some point?
Genuine Qs as need to know I think.

If I recall correctly, it's caused by the steerer being slightly loose from the crown (at least that was the issue with the pike) it's not dangerous or anything, just annoying.

Hi all,
Is anybody had any experience with bos stoy topping up?
My bike is morewood makulu.
When i lift my bike, i can feel the shock topping up by just push the rear wheel.
Should i be worried about this?
I think i should, because its not seems right.
Any of you have thought about what's wrong with the shock?
I am planning to open it by myself.
Thanks before.

Comes in original aftermarket box with warranty manuals setup booklets.

Hi Guys
I've gotta pair of idylle rare fcv 37 and I want to do a lower service but I cant find any information on it.
Used to do full service on my boxxer world cups and do the lowers every few months.
Is it pretty similar to remove the lowers? loosen off the compression adjusters and the foot nut and tap it with a mallet?
Also is there any oil charts? how much do you put in each leg.
And lastly how about the is the bos bio oil anything special or is it just a common oil with a fancy name.
Thanks in advance

For the air side, it is the same. But for the damper side, it's still an open bath design I believe and it's roughly the same, except you'll have all the oil pouring out from this side.
For the oil levels, check the user manual on their website. It's not an oil level as such, but like 120mm from the top of the stanchion. As for the lub oil in the lowers, it's something like 10mL on the air side.
And finally for the oil, if you can find some Minerva oil like this :
http://www.minervashop.fr/moto/72-huile-de-fourche-r-sae-5-75-1l-minerva.html
That's like 95% close to what BOS is using (except they sell it for 40 or 50€ per liter..)

ahh cheers buddy forgot about the open bath.Just found something for up2 2014 just need to try find the measurement from the top of the stanchion for the damper.
How do people measure from the top? Ive used a black spoke and measured from the oil mark in the past.
Just curious if there is an easier way to do it
Thanks
